I am a painter and draughtswoman who makes art about humanity and grace.
I work primarily from life and the human figure in oil and pencil, but also occasionally paint still life and landscape.
I have been in solo and group exhibitions across Canada, and my work hangs in private collections in North America, Europe and the Philippines. From 2011-2013, I spent 3 years studying in France at Studio Escalier on partial scholarship, under master artists Timothy Stotz and N. Michelle Tully.
I make art to connect – with myself, with others, with the world.
I created this space because I wanted to create a community of like-minded artists who were interested in working from and exploring the beauty and richness of the human figure through extended poses, as opposed to the usual quick studies found at typical life drawing groups.
